A beutiful red beer with a beutiful dense beige head. The aroma is sweet of berries and spices - most profound is black currant. The flavor is dry with notes of coriander and berries. A nice bockbier.

(Bottle 33 cl) Simply comes as " ’t Ij Bock Bier" - no mention of anything Bio here.
Very beautiful, deep amber colour with a pronounced sediment and a small but quite stable head. Lots of sweetish caramel notes, but never cloyingly sweet as a discreet bitterness adds balance. Yet another wellmade Dutch Bock beer. 061003

Bottled. Dark reddish brown, and really cloudy. Very flowery aroma. Nicely malty, but dominated by the flowery hoppiness that lingers on well into the finish.

Bottle, 6.5%. Slightly metallic aroma. Almost clear dark brown colour. Big, semi-stable tan head. The flavour starts off yeasty, turns malty with a sharp bitterness from the hops. Late roastedness, hint of horse blanket. More on the hoppy side than malty. Quite high carbonation. I expected better from ’t Ij.

Bottled. Hazy red brown coloured with a medium sized off white head. Aroma of fruits, leather, spices and pine needles. Flavour of pine needles, spices and leather with acidic and hoppy niotes. Tastes like a french beer.
