Thin white head. Aroma is very sweet and malty. Sweet plumy aroma, some rummy raisiny notes as well. Spicy yeast and some soft wheaty pepper. Clove and cardamon aromaa. Flavour is good, nice sweet maltiness up front with clove and a bit of dustiness apparent as well. Soft but full texture. Very plummy and rummy. Light herbal flavour toward the finish with low to moderate bitterness. Tasty brew especially considering the bottle was only two bucks. Aroma of toffee, spice, light sugar notes and hints of leather. There even seems to be a little mint in there. Light tartness on the fruity flavor. Mild spice on the back of the tongue.
