Light brown colour, tan head. Aroma has red fruits. Flavour has malts, red fruits and some candy. Weak.

Pours a fogged brown. Nose is just like pineapple juice right out of the can. Slight funky cherry wood there as well. Reminds me of a flanders…hmmm…and maybe that is what this is. I am writing this before checking the style. Flavor is that woody cherry character. The wood stays very prominent and leaves a lasting impression on the palate. Feel has a lot of carbonation, but not overly done. Liquid is well bodied. Very drinkable, but again with this brewery: worth the price? Seems a bit high to me. Could be just where I bought it though.

Thanks to SoLan! An orangish/ruby body, craggy yellow-tan head. Nose is pie cherry funk, light citrus, toasty malt. Flavor is lighter cherry pie, medium toasty malt, light wheat, some caramel. Finish is too thin, empty.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clousy amber with a medium tan head and a smell of citrus and grapes. Taste is complex, spice, caramel, citrus, coffee, roasted malts, sweet malts and yeast. Nice finish. Very atypical, sour and spicey, for a dubbel, but really drinkable

Bottle @ ABC Upstairs. Pours a dark amber with tan head. Aroma is sweet with fruit floral notes. Flavor is fairly bitter and sour for a dubble. Different, but I like it.

Bottle. Very acidic nose, light cherry. Cloudy light brown with minimal head. Flavor is nothing like the nose. Only a touch of acidity, more sweetness, can‘t nail down the fruit. Palate is full bodied but very smooth.

[Sampled in 2005, present from den Blå Øl.] Not as good as told. Should be better than Westmalle dubbel, Jens said, but I found it very highcarbonated and somewhat harsh and woody. But maybe it was a bad bottle.
