| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 20, 2007 The beer pours to a murky chestnut colored body with a lasting frothy off-white head. A heavy quick carbonation is actively propagating up. The aroma sort of has a bing cherry lactic thing going on. The flavor is nutty toasted almond slices, creamy cheesecake, dry nutty Brazil nuts on the back-end. The palate is rich, creamy, tart, and medium-bodied. The heavy carbonation seems to soften the mouthfeel. pintocb (509), Darsville, Georgia, USA

I had no idea what catergory of beer this would fall into and was very surprised to see that it is a dubbel.
