| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 22, 2008 Amber-brown in colour with a long lasting creamy off-white coloured head, good lacing. The aroma was lightly sour with some sweet caramel, fruits - apples and peaches. The flavour is sweet although sharp and acidic, some peaches, floral with some caramel. Lightly sour mouthfeel, medium body, high carbonation. Finishes again with some sourness, filling due to the high carbonation.
This is starting to fade although I have no idea how old this bottle was, the acitidy was starting to become a factor.
330ml bottle obtained in a trade with Beerlando, thanks Bryan.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 26, 2005 Bottle: Lovely ruby dark amber colour, with a lasting beige head. Fruity aroma, with some plum and citrus notes. Spice there too. Flavour starts a little sweet, but remains quite dry all the way through. Mildly spicy notes evident, along with some caramel and dark fruit notes. Alcohol well disguised. Not bad. DaSilky1 (2015), San Diego, California, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 23, 2006 Bottle at Pieter/Charlotte’s leaving party. Nice head, quite brown, another excellent Dubbel. It’s from a small microbrewer in A’dam. A bit sweet and thinner than most Dubbels. ABUSEDGOAT (1934), California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 15, 2007 Bottle dated Sept 2002. Cloudy reddish brown, moderate head with good lacing and retention. Aroma is raisin, dark sugars, hint of chocolate, some spiced funk. Flavor brings this, medium to light body and slightly oxidized. Fairly tart, don’t know if that’s because of the age or not. Overall it just wasn’t that enjoyable. Shag (1923), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 2, 2005 A dark brown appearance with a large head. This one was bent a little more sour than most dubbles Ive had. The main flavor going on here is chocolate followed by some raisins and nutmeg. There is some citrus detectable in the aftertaste. It looks like I enjoyed this more than most. jeffc666 (1895), Fairfax, Virginia, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jun 29, 2004 Dark swamp water brown body. The head is a dense light tan affair that has lasting power. Thearoma is not much to my liking, sweet malts and hints of garbage, not rank garbage but fresh garbage, if there is such a thing. The flavor also possess the garbage thing, up front at least, afterwards there is some sweet malt that all leads into a rather thin finish. Not very good, Belgian beer say hello to the Fairfax, VA sewers.
