Deep garnet body with a light brown sugar colored head. The aroma is sweet with prunes and some hints of herbs. There is also a definite milk chocolate note. The taste is raspberries with some iced mocha. There is also some light cola in the finish. A pleasing brew, this is interesting. Very low carbonation.

Brussels sprouts and oily nits in the aroma with a dusty, coiny character. Opaque reddish-brown with two-finger, fizzy, off-white head that recedes almost instantly to partial cover and ring. Tired, bland, meaty notes to the sweet nutty flavour that also exhibits a fair amount of boiled vegetables. Light earthy, grapey undertone. Medium body with fair carbonation. Bottle sampled with MartinT, Olivier_MTL and Rastacouere. Best Before was notched twice for month 09/10 and twice for year 03/04.

Russet brown hue with initial large frothy head which faded into a nice ring, some lacing. The aroma hints of caramel and toffee notes, floral, berry and lemon, earthy yeast esters and some phenols. The taste starts twangy and sweet combination with a woody finish. Undertones of flowers, hay, and pepper. The finish is a muddled mix of malts and yeast and seems to not display much complexity. The mouthfeel is lively and crisp and not as thin as the Zatte. While not a strong as some of its stable mates, the alcohol seems more pronounced in this beer. Has a double style, it lacks the complexity I hoped for, still is quaffable enough for a try.

Bottle. Hich creamy and long lasting off-white head. Hazy dark orange body. Sweet and fruity barley malt aroma with some caramel as well. Astonishingly hoppy flavor of fruits with a good deal of carbonation and a dry and long bitter aftertaste. Alcohol percentage seems just right.

Sampled with Minnesota gang, shared by retro42. Pours a semi-hazy coppery brown brew with a thin film on top. Aroma of toasted yeast and wheat, with a touch of raisins. Taste is a little tart and peppery with a yeast aftertaste.

This bottled brew poured a large sized head of foamy finely sized long lasting light brown colored bubbles that left behind a fair lacing. The body contained thick carbonation, was very hazy with a colloidal suspension and brown in color. Its aroma contained notes of yeasty brown malt. Its mouth feel is initially tingly vinous and thick with a lingering tingly palate. Its flavor contained thick yeasty mild brown malt slightly sour vinuous notes.
