Sourish aroma of cloves and green apple with light dried fruitiness. Anise-spicy, sourish-malty, yeasty and flowery flavor with some fermented strawberries and a dry, mildly bitter finish. Medium-bodied palate with smooth carbonation. A pleasant, light and flowery, somewhat Orvaly (although not as strong) brew.
(Bottled, was 6-4-7-4-13=3.4) Dark brown color, small head. Sour, yeasty aroma. Malty, nutty, sourish flavor. Medium-bodied, somewhat carbonated, sour palate. Strange as a dubbel, but quite ok as a beer. Rciesla (3686), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA

Muddy red, even though poured with minimal yeast, small fizzy head. Quite fizzy in the mouth. Sour husky graininess, in aroma. Pleasant roastiness, some sour fruitiness, dry spicy yeastiness. A little muddy, tastewise as well as looks, but very pleasant hops. Not particularly deep or complex. Fin (3423), Merton, Oxfordshire, England

This has a slightly muted nose but there is a touch of vanilla and spice. Good warmth from the alcohol, this like the other beers is quite lovely.
