Bottle conditioned. Chestnut red with a fluffy head that is shortlived despite a yeast dredging over carbonation. Fruity fig aromas mingled with yeast, Roast notes in the mouth with apple flavours and a sweet fruity finish with more apparent yeast.

Largish offwhite head. Hazy opaque light brown body with carbonation. Light wooden bananaish aroma with vague rubbery notes. Deep wooden, bananaish, roasty malty taste with spicy notes. Peppery. Dry, spicy aftertaste. Very nice. (0.33l bottle.)

Shared by Retro42. A sweet beer. Light yeast, and sweet Belgian malt and Belgian yeast. They nailed the style on this one, but I usually expect IJ to do something a little different. This is an ordinary dubbel of high quality.

Bottle at Monks Café. Stockholm. Hazy reddish brown with a big beige foam. Yeasty aroma of almond, cardamonn, roasted malt, banana and red berries. mellow yeasty flavour of cream, almond and grass. Smooth aftertaste of yeast and grass.

Bottle. Rich amber beer with a big dark cream colored head. Orange, spice, sweet malt aroma. Spicy, orange, yeasty, malt flavor. Yeast, orange, and spice linger. Medium body. Fairly dry, bready finish. This is a beer that’s just calling out for some Brett.

Good aroma, malty, sweet and fruity. Looks are great; Cloudy, brown coloured, lasting, creamy offwhite head. Taste is initially malty and fruity, beacomes more bitter and metallic in the end. Pitty!

Fruit and malt in the nose, hazy ruby, with a small toffe ehead. Flavour is red plums, almonds and caramel. Very well balanced, complex, nicely bitter. Fine example! Thanks again mds.

Pours cloudy copper with a tall white head, lots of particles swimming in this one. Very spicy aroma, still sweet and malty. Lots of fruity character to the start, citrus, plum and caramel. Finishes lightly tart with a lot of spiciness. Medium body with a lightly bitter finish.
