Bottle best before 6/04: Pours a rich garnet brown with a dense light tan head. Sweet malty and bready Belgian aroma. Body starts very light and thin with some spices and earthy, musty off-flavors before settling into a smooth, lightly dry finish. Not really much of a Belgian strong. Needs more body and to get rid of those off-flavors.

Bottle. Dull bronze brown with a small head. Aromas are yeast and berries with bubblegum. Hoppy and smoky with some meaty notes. Flavours are weetabix malts with sweet milk chocolate. Yeast with soft spices and hints of citrus. Decent.

Pours a nice reddish brown with a creamy medium tan head. Nose is spice with fruit. The taste has some light citrus notes along with caramel, cinnamon, and chocolate. The aftertaste lingers a bit with some bitter fruit notes. Good beer, though.

Small, frothy, dust-colored head with thick, heavy lace and a hazy, red-mahogany body. Spicy, yeasty bouquet with a prominent note of mustard seed, black pepper, milk chocolate, toffee, and paint thinner. Flavor is milky, malty, and very spicy with medium sweetness and moderate bitterness in the finish. Foamy, heavily carbonated mouthfeel. Different, but not really in a good or bad way. The bottom-line is that this is not a beer that I’d buy again.

The aroma is sweet rich in fruit notes where plum dominates. The color is an unclear brown/orange and it has an OK but disappearing head. The flavor is of plums, black currant, and other fruits combined with a dryness. It ends on a woody note. It has an OK palate.

well, nothing special going on here, looked very nice when poured into the T ij glas, nice dark ruby color, and a big head. Taste was very watery and lacked all complexity ...

[Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm] Muddy dark amber, rich head. Evidently yeasty, orangey nose. Mdedium sweet with lively mouthfeel. Soap, yeast and orange dominates, the caramelly malt are barely perceptible underneath th efunky yeast character. A wild and interesting brew!
