Strange bitter-sweet flavour, i got heaps of citrus in there, also a bit tart and acidic, i liked it, but had a slightly off flavour.

Crystal clear rye hue. Spongy off tan foam turns extremely rocky. Musty sweet tart aroma accompanied by sour cherry, vinous edges, cotton, urine, light perfume, caramel, plum, soft spice flares, bubblegum, and soil. Fluffy carbonation. Juicy on the palate. Mild acidic snap quickly leads to red apple textures, leather and prune. Bubblegum notes linger with a light hop leaf edge. Unattractive aroma, over carbonated, and an unpleasant sourness, which probably was unintentional.

Bottled(330ml). -Murky amber coloured, medium pale brown head, honey alcoholic nose. Aroma is yeasty and caramelly with notes of lemon, orange and spices. Sweet and slight alcoholic in the finish. A way too thin to be a good Dubbel.

Amber-brown in colour with a long lasting creamy off-white coloured head, good lacing. The aroma was lightly sour with some sweet caramel, fruits - apples and peaches. The flavour is sweet although sharp and acidic, some peaches, floral with some caramel. Lightly sour mouthfeel, medium body, high carbonation. Finishes again with some sourness, filling due to the high carbonation.

This is starting to fade although I have no idea how old this bottle was, the acitidy was starting to become a factor.

330ml bottle obtained in a trade with Beerlando, thanks Bryan.

Drunk a year past expiration, bought on deep discount. Surprisingly hoppy aroma for this style. Flavor centers around artificial grape flavor, and finishes sour. Some good notes, reminiscent of the caramel and raisins found in Corsendonk Brown. On the whole, a disappointing offering from this fine brewery.

Draught @ ’t Ij, Amsterdam. Hazy brown. Dried fruits and caramelised malts with mild brambly hops and light tart yeastiness. Pleasantly drinkable.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy deep orange to brown with a lacing white head. Again an almost gushing opening. Orange fruity and light brett-ish aroma. Fruity flavour with a distinct dry almost woody brett note. Sweet caramel malt flavour. Smooth yeasty note into the finish where the brett flavour seem to let go.
