Hazy golden color, large white head that had a good hang time then faded slowly to leave a nice lace behind. The aroma was malty and wheaty with a good citrusy side and some hints of hops in the back ground. The flavor was not as pilsnerish as i think of a pilsner being but very nice in flavor with a nice fruity flavor coming through very well in the beginning some notes of mild spice and a slight showing of hops in the end,as i said it’s not as pilsnerish as what i’m used to but very good non the less.Well worth trying again.

Bottle. Dense rocky white head, lasting with nice laces. Slightly hazy pale golden body. Beautiful sweet/acidulous fruity and floral aroma. Citrus and spice with a delicate hopbitter taste. Smooth and highly refreshing. Why can’t we have more pilseners like this? Innovative!

Pours a slightly hazy gold with a large, booming white head. This isn’t really a pilsner. It’s got the straw malt and some of the peppery hops, but it’s also got a slight yeasty funk that you’d expect more from a Belgian tripel than in a pilsner.

Pale yellow and hazy with inspirational towering white foam. Bready, spicy nose, forest, lichen...spicy flavor, yeasty, allspice and citrus, resembles saison in it’s orangey dry flavor and yeastiness but also has kellerbier like qualities, though somewhat more carbonic.End of the day, I greatly respect T’Ij fpr making this with their house yeast thereby creating a unique (and thankfully enjoyable) brewski brau!

Bottle. Large white fizzy head that was mostly lasting, sparse lacing, transparent, carbonation, and a straw yellow hue. Nose was citrus, spice, banana note, sweet, and some whffs of hops. Flavor was dry, clove, sour, spicy, and some banana. Mouthfeel started tingly then finished smooth and somewhat dry. Light-medium body.

Hey if this is a pilsener, its the best damn pilsener I ever had. However, seems like a wit to me. Bottle dated 12/05. Poured into a Hobgoblin tulip glass. Color is muted golden with a small head. Cannot see through the beer. Aroma is very present - lambic like sourness, orange-citrus, and tartness. Taste is lambic like sour with leather and tartness. Medium body and slightly acidic mouthfeel.

Bottle from Super Saver. Pours hazy gold with 1-finger white head. Aroma of big apricot, peach, honey, grainy hopcitrus. Tastes hopcitric, with some honey and fruit notes, and a pretty complex palate.

Bottled (thanks brunnsbe). Hazy yellow colour, mediumsized foamy head. Wheat and yeast in aroma. Yeast, wheat, sour apples and spice in flavour. Artificial feeling over it. Umm, really a pilsener? Indeed a "different" pilsener in that case...
