Brewed in the Netherlands, Pours a lite hazy orange color with a large white foamy head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit and yeast. The taste is of serious funk... lemons and grass, that finishes with a musty aftertaste. Its very different, and i dont think i could drink more then one.

Bottle 33cl @ [ Tasting by Maria ].
Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy - creamy, good lancing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, fruit notes, moderate yeasty, leather - barnyard. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (170608)

This Bohemian Pilsner pours a light yellow gold color from a 33cl bottle. Medium to large sized white foamy head. The aroma is grain, grass, floral hops and yeast. A medium bodied Bohemian Pilsner. The malts are grainy and grassy. The hops are very spicy and somewhat floral. Nice carbonation. Hoppy for a pilsner. Crisp, dry and clean. A touch of malt sweetness in the middle. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp and very dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Pours a very pale slightly hazy straw colour with a large foamy head and aggressive carbonation. Aroma has lemongrass and green tea, spicy yeast tones. Flavour is tart with a bit of spice. Nice floral bitterness in the finish. Doesn’t have the grassy skunk character of a Czech pils, but is not clean and dry like a German either. Interesting brew. I tried to rate it to style somewhat...but just really enjoyed it.

On tap @ IJ brouwerij. One of the few IJ beers that, imo, taste better from tap than from a bottle. Cloudy golden colour, thick bright white head. Smell of IJ yeast (top fermented!), some sugar, flowers and hops. Taste is rich, bitter, a wee bit sourish, but mostly bitter. A bit spicy. Very good "pilsener".

Bottle. Grassy citric nose, lemon and coriander and all around reminding of a wit. A really refreshing floral scent. Cloudy yellow pour with an excitably large, densely foamy brilliant white head. Taste is big on Duvel yeast, dry and bitter, floral and tasting very much like a saison. Coriander and spice, a lot of carbonation on a thin body that will quickly puff out the cheeks if swirled. Hops are very nice here, and this is a delicious summer beer, but how can we call it a pils?

Bottle. Poured a cloudy yellow color with a huge, huge sized white head. Aromas of lots of spices, citrus, and wheat, and fruity. I would have guessed a belgian wit beer on the aromas. Tastes of ctirus, spices, and wet grass. Light tart finish. Thinner body and tastes.

Courtesy of Fonefan. It’s hazy and golden and the head is huge and creamy. The aroma has notes of coriander and other spices, hints of yeast and fruit. The flavour has a light sourness, notes of coriander, spice, fruit and sweetness. It ends on a sweet and spicy note. Very atypical for the style.
