Peppery, bitter flavor witn and acid, woody, curious finnish. Medium to light MF, dry, bitter acid aftertaste, refreshing. Slightly cloudy yellow-light golden color with a bubbly, creamy white head. Nice, sessionable, approachable kellerbier. goozen (1102), Leiden, Netherlands

Orange, citrus flavour with hints of marsepijn. Nice prickly mouthfeel with buttery finish. One of the first pilseners I’ve really enjoyed (along with the one in Oslo). I should really make it over to their brewery soon as it’s across town for me... bu11zeye (5698), Frisco, Texas, USA

Strange fruity nose with sourish notes of lemon and underlying buttery malt. Malty, bready taste with a rather long, dryish finish with notes of hay and grassy hops. Bitterness comes through well in the finish. Strange, almost musty, aroma reminding a bit of wheat beer, replaced by a rather interesting, more pilsner-like, taste. Interesting. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 15, 2007 Bottle. The body is a plae yellow/gold color and holds a two finger thick white head that is mostly lasting. Sweet citrus smelling aroma along with some grassy and tart candy notes. Sweet fore leaves a lot of lingering yeasty notes and grassy/herbal accents. Very low hop presence, but some bitterness appears in the aftertaste. It’s kind of odd to be honest, but in a drinkable (non-gag flex triggering) kind of way. Cornfield (4980), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 10, 2007 This pours a pale, hazy straw body with intense beading and a tall frothy white head. The nose is somewhat yeasty, citrusy, with a sweet light malt and the smell of fresh cut grasses. It’s light and lively on the tongue and tastes of pale malt, a lemony sourness, and has an ever increasing citric and grassy bitterness that lasts long into the finish. Pretty tasty, refreshing Pils.

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 29, 2007 Pours a cloudy yellow color with a lot of lines of bubbles going up and a thick, frothy white head, the head has good retention. Appealing aroma of yeast, citrus and hops. The flavor is solid with a combo of yeast, hops and citrus, the finish is dry. The body is light with a dusty texture and moderate carbonation. A very good, dry and refresshing pilsener.
