Pretty deep red-amber with a swollen off white head that faded to a good half inch of dense cream head, leaving a perfect lace. Strong nose of vanilla, oak, walnut, tangerine and some caramel. Taste is a let down after such a fantastic aroma - light spice, nuts, apple, fig and dates. Slightly metallic finish. Creamy, full body. Stunning aroma! Lots of red apples, some caramel, vanilla and candy sugar. Oily mouthfeel. Very nice flavours - lots of spices. Vanilla again, ginger, pepper, oak, caramel and much more. Strong malt, caramel flavor with a nice nutty ending an aftertaste. MF is medium with a full creamy fiinnish. Dark, murky brown with some golden hues and a thin white rim.

Strong aroma of fruitiness and alcohol, malt, yeast, plenty of sweet caramel. Very good soft, sweet, malty, caramel, malty, fruity, alcoholic and bit yeasty flavour. Nice long lasting sweet finish of dark fruits. Warms the belly up! TheDog (349), Aarhus, Denmark Mar 20, 2007 Bottle. Dark unfiltered amber color. Large creamy head. Sweet nose from dark sugar and toffee. Excellent balance and wonderful taste of fruits, sugars, coffee and caramel. A bit like Chimay Blue only much better finish and mouthfeel.
