Unclear red/brown colour. Small creamy head. Quite malty flavour. Aftertaste has a little liquorice. Nice, full body. thedm (3833), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Jun 2, 2005 This bottled brew marked best before 9/05 poured a extremely large sized head of foamy light brown colored long lasting finely sized bubbles that left behind a hazy dark brown colored nearly opaque body with no visible carbonation. The aroma was bready with brown malty notes. The mouth feel was tingly and mildly vinous with a mellowing in the finish. It had a mild malty burnt malt bready flavor. After drinking the concoction I found lots of thick stuff in the bottom of my mug. madsberg (4873), Søborg, Denmark May 26, 2005 Bottled @ KØ 2005: Burgundy coloured. Unclear. Dark beige head. Fruit, raisin, berries, yeast, malt and sweetness in the aroma. Flavour is equally delicious. Loads of sweet malt, fruit and rasiny notes. Some spices present. Ends on a nice sweet note and a light alcohol burnt. Complex and full bodied. Emil (6075), Copenhagen, Denmark May 26, 2005 Red brown colour with a big baige head. Weak yeasty malty fruity aroma and a sweet caramel yeasty taste. Medium body and a sweet finish. ThomasE (5179), Copenhagen, Denmark May 23, 2005 Hazy amber colour with a small tan head. Malty and yeasty aroma with a light fruity sweetness. Yeasty earthy flavor with a dry finish. Dixen (1465), Flagstaff, Arizona, USA May 22, 2005 Bottle at DBF2005. Fruity nose, some yeast, had a sour edge like all Dutch beers. Reddish colored body, with a small off-white head. Sweet flavor, sour edge, some yeast. turbothy (717), Bonn, Germany May 22, 2005 [from bottle @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2005] Not. My. Style. Very special heavy flavour, cheese-y aroma. Tastes kinda like the morning after.
