Bottle. Hazy burgundy-amber colour with a medium off-white head of tight bubbles that left a good amount of lace. Rich aroma of brown sugar, dark grapes, prunes & alcohol. Flavour is sweet & malty, very nice, with a pleasing bit of boozy warmth in the finish. Thanks to R. for this tasty & rare treat!

Bottle. Large ivory head that was mostly lasting, fine-small sized bubbles, decent lacing, hazy, and a brown hue. Nose was malty, caramel and sweet. Nice! Flavor was malty, caramel and vinuous. Very, very nice! Tingly and dry palate.

Dark red color with a thin head. Aroma of grapes. Tastes of bread and heavy malt. Texture is on the syrupy side. Slightly spicy.

This bottled brew marked best before 9/05 poured a extremely large sized head of foamy light brown colored long lasting finely sized bubbles that left behind a hazy dark brown colored nearly opaque body with no visible carbonation. The aroma was bready with brown malty notes. The mouth feel was tingly and mildly vinous with a mellowing in the finish. It had a mild malty burnt malt bready flavor. After drinking the concoction I found lots of thick stuff in the bottom of my mug.

Bottled @ KØ 2005: Burgundy coloured. Unclear. Dark beige head. Fruit, raisin, berries, yeast, malt and sweetness in the aroma. Flavour is equally delicious. Loads of sweet malt, fruit and rasiny notes. Some spices present. Ends on a nice sweet note and a light alcohol burnt. Complex and full bodied.

Red brown colour with a big baige head. Weak yeasty malty fruity aroma and a sweet caramel yeasty taste. Medium body and a sweet finish.
