Hazy burgundy-amber colour with a medium off-white head of tight bubbles that left a good amount of lace. Rich aroma of brown sugar, dark grapes, prunes & alcohol. Flavour is sweet & malty, very nice, with a pleasing bit of boozy warmth in the finish. Thanks to R. for this tasty & rare treat! hotstuff (3175), Indiana, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jun 2, 2005 This bottled brew marked best before 9/05 poured a extremely large sized head of foamy light brown colored long lasting finely sized bubbles that left behind a hazy dark brown colored nearly opaque body with no visible carbonation. The aroma was bready with brown malty notes. The mouth feel was tingly and mildly vinous with a mellowing in the finish. It had a mild malty burnt malt bready flavor. After drinking the concoction I found lots of thick stuff in the bottom of my mug. madsberg (4958), Søborg, Denmark
