Strong aroma of chocolate, burning wood and vanilla. Taste is reminescent of a good port, and has a fruitish and slightly yeasty quality. Finishes smooth but light in the alcohol taste with a slight licorice taste. Has a dryness and hint of taste about it that seems reminescent of an aged Sam Adams Triple Bock. Recommended.
