Everlasting, creamy retention. Earthy, sweet nose provides notes of rawhide, brown sugar and wine with a whisper of acidity. The flavor has excellent balance. Sweet, but not cloying. Bitter, but not harsh. Acidic, but not tart. Medium to full-bodied with crisp (but not prickly) carbonation. Crisp, lightly bitter finish. duff (5475), Surrey, Greater London, England

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 2, 2007 Hazy orange-foxy beer with a good yellow-beige head. Very perfumed nose, even raspberry. Yeasty, fusel alcohols betraying themselves. Again very perfumed taste, a hint at tartness, and a lot of esters. Fruity, like strawberry flavouring, but a tad artificial. Well bodied, slick, oily, alcohol. Artificial strawberry flavour remaining in the aftertaste. A bit perfumey, and it is not a beer that one would drink at more than one an evening. Would be hard to swallow fast, even discarding the ABV. Hildigöltur (5109), København, Denmark
