Start malt and slightly sweet, middle thin, finish has some hops, but mostly dry. Hearty overall, and is quite appealing. Acidic, moderate carbonation, decent beer Thanks Venom. Spritzy body loaded with pineapple, star fruit and some floral aspects. Powdery candy sugariness. Lush, lightly carbed body with a tart/sweet candy flavor. Quite interesting. Note: re-sampled cold right out of the fridge and their was an intense aroma and flavor of caramel coated popcorn. Weird. CaptainCougar (5523), Rockville, Maryland, USA

Aroma is musty and bready with a touch of yeast and tartness. Body starts light and syrupy sweet with some cookie dough maltiness and a semi-dry warming finish. Decent complexity and hides its alcohol well, but could use a little more body and balance. Very drinkable though. hopscotch (5525), Vero Beach, Florida, USA

Everlasting, creamy retention. Earthy, sweet nose provides notes of rawhide, brown sugar and wine with a whisper of acidity. The flavor has excellent balance. Sweet, but not cloying. Bitter, but not harsh. Acidic, but not tart. Medium to full-bodied with crisp (but not prickly) carbonation. Crisp, lightly bitter finish. skortila (2913), Bunnik, Netherlands

Aroma is fruity with yeast and an odd (prune?) scent. Musty, yeasty, perfumy aroma - but aromatics are not as strong as I’d like. Minimal head, smooth, medium carbonation and mouthfeel. Lots of sweet chocolatey, raisins and apricot. Lightly bitter, alcohol flavor noticeable. As with most dark Belgian-styles, you really need to let this warm from the fridge to get it all. Good, but something missing...
