Palidor19 (1750), Brandon, Florida, USA Mar 7, 2007 The beer is very carbonated. The aroma is mildly fruit and floral. The taste has a definitive tropical taste with hints of mango and pineapple. AskForJenny (627), Ontario, New York, USA Mar 2, 2007 0.33l- Straw colored liquid under large ivory head. Sour raspberries on nose. Sour seltzarlike mouthfeel, a lot of lambic notes here. Not what I expected, but in a good way. This is different, something to remeber for a change of pace. TheDog (350), Aarhus, Denmark Feb 26, 2007 Bottle. Cloudy yellow colour, big white head, aroma and taste of fruites, citrus, grains and mango. Some crisp and spicy notes in the finish. A great trippel. Frits P Aarhus also imports the Natte. 260207 altonbrownd (1862), Amsterdam, Netherlands Feb 23, 2007 On tap in De Ooievaar. Creamy. Yellow, cloudy colour. Citrusy taste. Very tasty and quite enjoyable. Spicy and fruity tastes, develop into long finish. HenrikSoegaard (4263), Randers, Denmark Feb 13, 2007 Bottle. Creamy white excellent fully lasting head. Yellow colour. Heavy hoppy and yeasty aroma. Not great but powerfull flavor with heavy mango notes. Long finish. Creamy palate. Not my favorite. Svesse (2597), Hässelby, Sweden Feb 5, 2007 (Draught at Monk’s Café, Stockholm, 2 Feb 2007) Orange colour with huge, but brief, white head, leaving some lacing. Fruity nose with distinct citrussy notes of orange, Seville orange and citrus peel. Fruity, spicy taste with apricots, orange, Seville orange and a fresh, spicy finish. This was quite a nice and tasty beer, actually. beerbuzzmontreal (2909), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Feb 2, 2007 Pours a hazy orangey blonde color with a thin white head. Classic tripel aroma and flavor of belgian yeast and citrus. The body is light to medium with a creamy texture and gentle carbonation. This tripel doesn’t have anything new or original to offer, it’s just well-made and enjoyable and I don’t mind at all. Cornfield (4892), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Feb 2, 2007 This seems pretty lightweight for a tripel, but it is tasty. Hazy gold in color, it’s got a sustained white head that does only spotty lacing. The aroma is fruity, apples & pineapples & some citric tartness, with a slightly funky note. The latter builds somewhat in the flavor, but the fruit tastes remain strong and a soft soapy yeast is added. It finishes on a dry, mildly tart note. Pretty nice.
