Commercial Description:
A golden Tripel-style ale. A little lighter in alcohol, but not in flavor, than Westmalle, and more drinkable. It matches the best of Belgium.

This bottle conditioned brew poured a medium sized head of frothy white colored fine to medium sized bubbles that left behind a hazy slightly carbonated body with fine yeast particle floaties. It had a mild malty floral aroma and a very good lacing. The mouth feel was initialy tingly and malty with a mellowing in its finish and a mild fruity aftertaste. The flavor was fruity in a flowery way with a solid malt base.

(Bottle 33 cl) Orangey golden, very unclear with a thick, thick, rocky head. Dry and distinctly bitter, notes of malt and yeast - but not really any traces of sweetness. 120504

The initial taste was a nice sweetness and modest carbonation, but taste was lesser so and dry aftertaste. Foam white head on cloudy yellow-brown . Nice Belgian abbey aroma. Soft creamy mouthfeel. 8% alcohol, its there. One of Holland’s best.

Orange hazy, small creamy head. Fruity nose (apricot, coriander). Very carbonated. Fruity: wheat, coriander and yeast. Not show much ABV.

bottle - obtained as a bonus beer from Hopdog - Thanks Steve! - poured hazy amber with a tall white head that lingers and laces quite well. Aroma is yeast, oranges, spices and a touch of honey all blended together. Flavor is much the same. Beautiful on the palate. So smooth for a triple. Balanced beautifully and no alcohol to be found in this one. Very nice tripel.. I loved it..

Very hazy gold, with a long long lasting white large head. Looks brilliant, so tempting. Flavour is a wonderful blend of spices, honey and citric zest. Flavour is a similar blend, wonderful sweet honey start with a long spicy finish. Very well balanced, and alcohol completely hidden. Top stuff.

Man!!!
Wasn’t expecting all that much from this brew but I was Really Impressed!
Another beer sampled while Eric was in town.

Poured a muddled light orangeish-blond body with a thick cream colored head. Fine lacing hangs from start to finish. The aroma and flavor was astoundingly complex: almost farmyard like. Great suggestions of crusty biscuits, Golden Delicious apple, pear and slices of tangerine zest. Suggestions of leather horse saddle a lite funky mustiness… some buttered biscuits….
Evokes nostalgic images of ranch life: Eating lunch on a bale of hay as I sit beneath the shade of a grand oak… I enjoy this beautiful beer from a goblet and smile in content.

Bottle... Hazy golden ale with a small, creamy, off-white head. Great retention. Yeasty aroma with lots of bread dough, Red Delicious apple and just a hint of banana. The flavor is lightly Flemish with sweet plum. Not overly spiced. Medium-bodied and very creamy with pillow-soft carbonation. Mid-length, rich, doughy finish. Fairly dry. Props to Matta for sharing his bottle. Great brew!
