Commercial Description:
A golden Tripel-style ale. A little lighter in alcohol, but not in flavor, than Westmalle, and more drinkable. It matches the best of Belgium.

As soon as I crack the crown cap, a heady whiff of fruity aromas wafts out, with a suggestion of grapes in the lead. Hazy orange color, enormous crackly creamy head, casting a pinkish appearance in contrast to the body of the beer. Aroma is vibrant, dazzling, lovely, largely citrus and spice. Soft and sweet, with a slightly sour palate that remains throughout the finish. Somehow, I’m getting the feel of a lambic here, with the sourness and the fruit. Not among my favorite tripels, but a nice shot.

Pours a hazy rich gold color that is topped by a fluffy cream-tan colored head. I get soft aromas of tropical fruit, oranges, pepper, and a faint mustiness. Overall the aroma is fairly weak though. The taste is lightly sweet up front and the finish is definitely interesting: I get a certain astringency and a mustiness. There are also notes of lemon, orange, pear and lots of spice notes in the finish. This is a very interesting beer, the after taste is chock-full of subtle spice notes that really grab my attention.

Mild yeasty spice cake aroma .Cloudy dark blond appearance with full head and fine suspended particles. Yeasty mild hop flavor that gets a tart lemon edge to it. Hides the alcohol well . Mild yeasty fruity sour apple finish.

33 cl bottle. Foggy, yeasty light golden, medium lasting head. Lightly spicy apple/banana/orange nose. Light, honeyish orangey-grapefruity initial flavor, decaying into yeasty light sourness towards the end, but with a bit of citrusy bit throughout. It’s fine, but nothing special.

Certainly not the best tripel I’ve ever had. Golden color with a thinnish white head. The nose is impressive with an array of fresh fruit flavors and sour twinge. But the flavor is weak and the body somewhat thin. The carbonation was nice and spunky though. I can’t complain but you won’t see me raving.

Bottle @ Ølbaren, Copenhagen. Very interesting aroma, fruity, has a sour tangy edge, some pineapple, spicyness. Pours golden to straw yellow, hazy, with a nice medium white head. Flavor is filled with bretts, has that sour edge but its also farily light and very drinkable. Refinds me abit of Orval. Very interesting beer.

Poured a hazy golden/amber color with an averaged sized white head. Lots of large particles. Aromas of oranges, lemons, apples, cinnamon and honey. Starts of slightly sweet and ends in a nice bitter and sour finish. Fruity, spicy and yeasty flavors.

Orange coloured. Fruity and yeasty aroma. The flavour is also fruity and yeasty with a sourish touch in the finish.
