Aroma of bready malts, yeast, and a touch of citrus. Body starts somewhat thin with a musty, dry, and sour maltiness before some peppery off-flavors and a smoother yeasty finish. Nice thin-bubbled carbonation throughout enhaces the mouthfeel. This beer could use some more sweetness and balance. maupie (599), Roosendaal, Netherlands
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 19, 2004 This beer has a gold body - hue apperance and a fine white scum collar. I have drunk the beer from a bottle and it had a no carbonic acid. The initial flavor tast was light bitter with a faint afther tast. maeib (4711), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 16, 2004 Bottled. A hazy amber coloured beer with anice white head and good lacing. The aroma is sweet and spicy with hints of grapefruit. The taste is drier than expected with some spiciness. Although the beer is pleasant enough the finish is quite short and I get the impression there is still a bit of ’finding its feet’ about this beer. Kinz (2202), Glen Allen, Virginia, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jun 11, 2004 More floaties than a kiddie wading pool. Medium gold, decent head. Aroma of barnyard and stale piss. This is the aroma of a funky lambic, not a tripel. Initial flavor of light honey descends into the bowels of funky yeast, redolent with flavors of faint lemon, barnyard, toast, and faint nuttiness from the yeast backwash. Not what I was expecting, but still quite the beer. mrkimchee (1414), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 24, 2004 Cloudy coppery hue with some floaties that produced a large frothy head and very nice lacing. The aroma has a sour fruit, dusty yeast, biscuit malts, vanilla and cinnamon. The taste starts yeasty with a sweet and flowery background. Displays a touch of acidic and mildly bitter undertones. Woody and slightly spices towards the finish. Alcohol is well hidden. The mouthfeel is lively and crisp, a bit watery however. It’s an okay beer, but nothing to go out of your way to buy. mkobes (2104), paramus, New Jersey, USA
