Commercial Description:
A golden Tripel-style ale. A little lighter in alcohol, but not in flavor, than Westmalle, and more drinkable. It matches the best of Belgium.

2nd Brewery 07-08 Beer Road Trip with Bikesandbeer, 12/31/07 @ The Brewery with Alan Sprints. Alan was nice enough to give Kevin, Kevin’s Girlfriend Jessi a private tour and tasting on New Year’s Eve 07. Bottle form Alan’s Personal Cellar after Kevin was talking about living in the Netherlands Alan went around back and rooted out a 1996 vintage of this brew and damn it was tastey. Pours yellow bubbly with a 1 finger bubbly head. Nose had a huge yeast character. Taste was alsmost Greg like sweet, yeasty, light and all in all a damn fine Tripel.

Huge thanks to SoLan who sent this as a bonus in a trade. Cloudy orangey/yellow, white head. Nose is lemon pineapple bretty goodness. Reminds me of a candy I used to like that was called Tart & Tiny’s. Awesome malt & yeast notes. Flavor is more of that tart & tiny, pineapple, yeast & light spicing (none of which I can zero in on.) A bit more yeast and breadiness in the finish. Extremely smooth body. Nice!

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy golden with a medium white head and a smell of citrus. Taste is mainly grass citrus with a spice I can’t exactly point out. Nice lasting finish makes this an original beer, I like it.

A bigger t’Ij beer than many of the others. Has a winter-warming quality. Malty and a tad on the sweet side. Good balance of flavors though. Creamy and soft.

Bottle, dated 2002. Pours a hazy orange amber with a volcanic white head that slowly settles into a thin creamy pad. Aromas of apples, cloudberries, and barnyard must. Sweet lively palate of apples, pears, chamomille, hay, and barnyard mustiness. A slightly medicinal finish. Very complex and surprisingly refreshing. I enjoyed this enormously.

Draught at the brewpub.
Hazy golden/orange coloured, medium sized soapy white head, pleasant yeasty nose. Sweet yeasty aroma with notes of coriander and other spices. Slight acidic bitter finish.
