Commercial Description:
A golden Tripel-style ale. A little lighter in alcohol, but not in flavor, than Westmalle, and more drinkable. It matches the best of Belgium.

Pours a golden brown with a million floaties in it. They are suspended throughout the beer. The nose is a little disappointing as it gives off the aroma of dog food mixed with malt and spice. The taste reminds me more of a European lager or pilsener than a tripel. Smooth malted body hops, some fruit, and spice. Very nice combination and very smooth mouthfeel and finish. Light warming feeling as it goes down. Good beer!

Bottle. Vibrant cloudy golden beer with a very strong head. The aroma is grassy, herbal and spiced. The flavour is warming, yeasty and bitterish spiced. Overall a nice tasting mildly spiced beer.

Habersham Beverage Warehouse, Savannah, Ga. - 330 ml bottle. Pours a murky golden-orange with a wispy, creamy white head and good lacing. Yeasty aroma with some earthy, malty notes. Flavor has a hint of lemon with some biscuity, malty back end notes. Very earthy and green. Mouthfeel is decently thick, not too spritzy. Quite refreshing.

Draught at the brewpub.
Hazy golden/orange coloured, medium sized soapy white head, pleasant yeasty nose. Sweet yeasty aroma with notes of coriander and other spices. Slight acidic bitter finish.

2nd Brewery 07-08 Beer Road Trip with Bikesandbeer, 12/31/07 @ The Brewery with Alan Sprints. Alan was nice enough to give Kevin, Kevin’s Girlfriend Jessi a private tour and tasting on New Year’s Eve 07. Bottle form Alan’s Personal Cellar after Kevin was talking about living in the Netherlands Alan went around back and rooted out a 1996 vintage of this brew and damn it was tastey. Pours yellow bubbly with a 1 finger bubbly head. Nose had a huge yeast character. Taste was alsmost Greg like sweet, yeasty, light and all in all a damn fine Tripel.

Dark yellow colored, cloudy appearance. Medium sized white head. Again this fine traditional T’Ij-aroma: rich dryness with hops and obvious yeast, fruits, apple, lemon and spices also there. Medium bodied. Even better flavor with orange, strong yeast, apple and hops. Crispy palated.

Bottled. As well as tap. Slight cloudy golden color, medium white head. Aroma is slight spicy, hint of yeast, fruity, bit sweet, hint of lemon and orange. Thick body. Creamy texture. Soft bitter taste, spicy, hint of pepper, some orange. Nice triple.

Bottle conditioned, bbe 05/03. Gold, excellent long lasting rocky fluffy white head and good condition. Hoppy aromas giving way to perfumed maltiness, hints of menthol and a faint suggestion of rubber, Soft and delicate sweet malt in the mouth with a robust balancing hoppiness, some traces of fruity esters and a nice yeastiness. Finish is pleasantly alcoholic and slightly dry. Gets better with age and hides its strength well.
