Aug 17, 2002 Golden orange color. Yeasty, citrusy and a variety of spice in the nose. Thick body, touches of yeast complimenting a nice hop bitterness in the finish. Complex, very nice.

Sep 6, 2003 Murky orange color with a big off-white head. Citrus aroma along with some yeast. Very Reactive mouthfeel. Spicy and citrusy flavor, fairly dry finish. Pretty good stuff.

Aug 3, 2004 Bottle @ Ølbaren, Copenhagen. Very interesting aroma, fruity, has a sour tangy edge, some pineapple, spicyness. Pours golden to straw yellow, hazy, with a nice medium white head. Flavor is filled with bretts, has that sour edge but its also farily light and very drinkable. Refinds me abit of Orval. Very interesting beer.

Feb 18, 2004 Hazy golden with a tight, off-white head. The aroma is strongly yeasty with nice sweetness underneath. Raw dough, honey, clove, mango, sweet apples and perhaps some white pepper (or is that a touch of alcohol?). Sweet, almost sticky, body that is neither too full nor too thin. Good, but not outstanding, flavors of sweet fruit (apricot, orange, apple, mango), immense yeast (dry biscuits and pizza dough) and a touch of bitterness at the very end. Another strong offering from this fairly consistent brewer. It covers all of the bases well, with nothing truly standing out.

Apr 16, 2008 Thanks to Solan for suggesting this. Pours cloudy orange gold with lots of carbonation and a thick fluffy white head. Citrus, yeast, and sour aroma. Has a medium bodied, with a sour, orange citrus taste. Very smooth drinking despite the big carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter. An interesting blend of flavors, very good.

Jul 5, 2006 Notches marked March/05. Born or best? Hazy gold with a few floaters, topped by a frothy, 1 inch white cap. Aroma of old grains similar to a very light whiskey with a few ice cubes melted in it. Sweet fruits, mildly sour funky yeast, vinegar, also. Flavors are sweet and fruity, rich yet crisp malt, a subtle herbal/pepper spiciness, tangy vinegar, just a bit of musty funk, and a dry yeasty finish that makes me want to drink it way too fast. Very mellow. Full, smooth palate. Solid brew, have to try some of their others.

May 1, 2004 very hazy gold, small head. floury(not "flowery"), wheaty malt aroma with a bit of honey and earth. a bit of tart fruity flavour(green aplle, lemon) and yeasty wheaty malt. not bad.
