Malt is a nice complex sour/ candy sugar with notes of citrus (apples, a touch of grapefruit, notes of lemon). The finish seems smooth but becomes a bit medicinal...lingering finish was described by Jake Barnes as we drank it as "band aid", which was right on the money, though I can't rake credit for it. Overall an incredibly complex brew that would have been exceptional in my book if not for the unpleasant notes in the finish. haukur (684), Reykjavik, Iceland

Sour seltzarlike mouthfeel, a lot of lambic notes here. Not what I expected, but in a good way. This is different, something to remeber for a change of pace. punkrkr27 (654), Berkley, Michigan, USA

Sweet and dry aroma with a subtle hint of fresh fruit and slight funk. Very delicate, dry and sweet flavor with some lemon, grass and green apple. There’s just a faint hint of barnyard and little bit of pepperiness. Medium thin body with tingly carbonation. A very delicate an drinkable version of a triple. Hazy dark gold, white head diminishes leaving a slight film. Initial aromas are nice. Yeast, citrus a bit of barnyard funk as well. Nice tripel characteristics. Flavors also nice. Fair amount of bitterness but leaning towards sweet. Fruity, lightly bitter and lightly spiced. Mouthfeel is soft and carbonation a bit low. Light bitterness in finish.Overall a decent tripel. madmitch76 (645), , Essex, England
