| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 8, 2003 Aroma has pepper, honey and cinnamon. Sweetish, hopbitter, yeasty flavor with honey, citrus and apple. Some strange dustiness. Just a bit thin for a triple, nevertheless a good beer. Emil (6074), Copenhagen, Denmark

Nothing at all that I can see or taste to make a fuss about really. A very standard tripel. Seems a little over rated on here if you ask me. thewolf (5827), Kolding, Denmark
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 9, 2007 Pours a pale, muddy orange-yellow with a small creamy off white head. Lots of particles and bubbles. Aroma has lots of fruityness from the yeast, some oranges and a little honey. A little spritzy mouthfeel. More powerful taste than you’d expect - not as light and fresh as the aroma. Lots of oranges in the flavour as well and generally sweet. bu11zeye (5621), Frisco, Texas, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 12, 2005 (Bottle) Pours a lightly cloudy golden body with a large off-white head. Aroma is tart and dusty. Flavor of sweet fruit with spicy yeast (nice balance). Clean, light, soft, and creamy mouthfeel. Tasty! hopdog (5614), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 12, 2004 Poured a hazy golden/amber color with an averaged sized white head. Lots of large particles. Aromas of oranges, lemons, apples, cinnamon and honey. Starts of slightly sweet and ends in a nice bitter and sour finish. Fruity, spicy and yeasty flavors. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 12, 2004 Bottle at Spuyten Duyvil. Hazy golden. Light white head. Weird citrus aroma, phenolic. Yeast component gives an odd fruity/creamy profile that reminds me of cat litter, but to be polite, I’ll say kaffir lime and zest. Palate is very fruity, citrusy with notes of mango and peach. Mostly sweet (powder sugar), but also lightly tart (lime). Rather silky body, medium in size, feeling ample. Once again an odd beer from T IJ which positions itself middle of the range among my tripels thanks to originality and an attractive apperance and mouthfeel. hopscotch (5537), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 15, 2005 Bottle... Hazy golden ale with a small, creamy, off-white head. Great retention. Yeasty aroma with lots of bread dough, Red Delicious apple and just a hint of banana. The flavor is lightly Flemish with sweet plum. Not overly spiced. Medium-bodied and very creamy with pillow-soft carbonation. Mid-length, rich, doughy finish. Fairly dry. Props to Matta for sharing his bottle. Great brew!
