Hazy, golden yellow with initially strong white head that recedes to cover. Malt dominated, sweet flavour has plenty of tropical fruits and a light tartness toward the finish. Very tasty. Smooth and creamy in the mouth. Bottle enjoyed with MartinT and Rastacouere at Spuyten Duyvil (Brooklyn, New York). BBB63 (4267), La Porte, Indiana, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 24, 2004 Cloudy coppery hue with some floaties that produced a large frothy head and very nice lacing. The aroma has a sour fruit, dusty yeast, biscuit malts, vanilla and cinnamon. The taste starts yeasty with a sweet and flowery background. Displays a touch of acidic and mildly bitter undertones. Woody and slightly spices towards the finish. Alcohol is well hidden. The mouthfeel is lively and crisp, a bit watery however. It’s an okay beer, but nothing to go out of your way to buy.
