Commercial Description:
A golden Tripel-style ale. A little lighter in alcohol, but not in flavor, than Westmalle, and more drinkable. It matches the best of Belgium.

[Sampled in 2005.] Another nice brew from Holland. Notes of flowers, some sourness, stickyness, yeast, spices and alcohol. Okay brew!

(bottle) Golden colour with a big foamy white head. Stromg citrus (oranges) aroma with floral hops, yeasts and hay. Creamy texture, medium body, bittersweet flavour. Light sweet malty taste with honey, oranges and a peppery spicy, still fruity and light bitter finish. Very interesting and rather uncommon “Tripel”. Well-quaffable and moreish.

Pours a bubbly light golden color with a big, foamy off white head. Spicy citrus notes are evident, sweet malts, and candy sugar also show up in the nose. The taste is a little sour, a little funky, with tons of spice flavors. The candy sugar sweetness is apparent, but moreso in the background as the spices tend to mask it somewhat. The finish is crisp and sweet. Funky aftertaste leaves you interested. Solid little brew.

Golden color, small white foam. A lot of earthy and basement aromas from the yeast, and herbs ? from the hops. Sweet. A rather good tripel.

Bottle sampled with Beerded_one. Pours hazy golden with a 2 finger thick white head with good retention. Aroma of fruit (almost lambic -like), citrus, belgian yeast and spices. The flavor is fruit, spices, yeast, some bitterness, and a small alcohol kick. Good body, good brew.

Bottle. An unclear, cloudy orang-golden beer with a small, off-white head. Small floaties as well. Evident bretty aroma with fruityness, yeast and sourness. A slight alcohol touch as well. There’s also a little rubbery note, but so hidden it doesn’t disturb at all. Medium to full body, sweetness in the background, sourish and effervescent. The flavor is fruity, sourish and funky with yeast and barnyard. Quite bitter finish, but there’s no problem finding the sourish, barnyardish flavors, and it’s quite fruity as well. Cute, untypical tripel. (080426)

Bottle @ Gollem, Amsterdam. Cloudy, murky blonde tripel. Yeasty, floral, tripel like spiciness with slightly sour & funky finish.
