Sweetish, hopbitter, yeasty flavor with honey, citrus and apple. Some strange dustiness. Just a bit thin for a triple, nevertheless a good beer. jaymobrown (1360), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Gold color with a thin head. Both the aroma and the flavor are packed with sugary malt. No real hop bitterness, no spices, no yeastiness... Just sugary malt. Tasty enough for me! | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 27, 2004 Hazy orange, faint greenish shine; good yellowish head, slightly irregular. Vanilla, alcohol, grassy nose. Alcohol and burnt caramel determine the character. If "Zatte" (=drunk) was the idea, it's on the spot. But this is far from easily drinkable. Yet reasonably refreshing. Full, slightly slick mouthfeel. Alcoholwarming. Straw/hayflavour in the aftertaste. Quite decent beer, technically excellent. But the sweet, alcoholic taste makes it pretty difficult to enjoy fully.
