Cloudy saturated orange color, perfectly presented white head. Punchy, sharp hop note, leafy even, bbut too sweet, as is expected in Holland I have learned. Excellent sharp alcohol and yeast nose, mildly grassy as well. Good tripel, with solid sharpness, but too much sugar.

May 6, 2005 Bottle. Unclear golden-yellow with large lasting head. Quite fruity (peach, apricot), little spicy (ginger), little chalky and dry finish. Easy drinking. Thanks Jbrus.

Nov 6, 2005 Golden, white head. Lots of yeast in the bottle. Grassy aroma with citrus, grape, pine and sweeter fruits. Hoppy flavor with citrus mixed with sweeter fruits.

May 31, 2005 Updated: Feb 15, 2006Bottle. Bready rye aroma. Hazy golden colour, small head. Slightly citric flavour, average bitterness. A bit boring. Mouthfeel is nice, though. </br> Draught. Flavour is a little sweet with some wheat to it. Orange colour, nice creamy white head. Slightly spiced flavour. Aftertaste is malty and sweet. Low bitterness. Nice, low carbonation.

Jun 16, 2004 Bottled. A hazy amber coloured beer with anice white head and good lacing. The aroma is sweet and spicy with hints of grapefruit. The taste is drier than expected with some spiciness. Although the beer is pleasant enough the finish is quite short and I get the impression there is still a bit of ’finding its feet’ about this beer.

Feb 2, 2007 Pours a hazy orangey blonde color with a thin white head. Classic tripel aroma and flavor of belgian yeast and citrus. The body is light to medium with a creamy texture and gentle carbonation. This tripel doesn’t have anything new or original to offer, it’s just well-made and enjoyable and I don’t mind at all.

Jan 15, 2005 Bottled. Pours a cloudy light amber color. Billowy white head with a frothy lacing. Yeasty aroma with notes of stone fruits. Malty and spicy with pears, raisins and cigar flavor notes. Hops lend a bit of an understated bitterness in the end. Finishes Dry.

Feb 2, 2007 This seems pretty lightweight for a tripel, but it is tasty. Hazy gold in color, it’s got a sustained white head that does only spotty lacing. The aroma is fruity, apples & pineapples & some citric tartness, with a slightly funky note. The latter builds somewhat in the flavor, but the fruit tastes remain strong and a soft soapy yeast is added. It finishes on a dry, mildly tart note.
