Weird. Thin off white head (slow pour as this sucker was hissing when I uncapped it). Moderate carbonation, as said. Sweet/tart aroma with light tropical fruit, spices and hamster cage (after a turd dropping). Bubbly body with the sweet/tart flavor and a light tangerine + peel flavor. Spicy but not herby. Not much malt depth and the carbonation gets in the way of letting any flavor settle in. Dry aftertaste with a yeasty bite. Zero hint of alcohol. Finishes tart and dry and yeasty. Very un-trippel like. Decent. 21iceman40 (1731), vienna, West Virginia, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 23, 2004 Pours a rich golden with a thick puffy white head. Aroma of bready malts, yeast, and a touch of citrus. Body starts somewhat thin with a musty, dry, and sour maltiness before some peppery off-flavors and a smoother yeasty finish. Nice thin-bubbled carbonation throughout enhaces the mouthfeel. This beer could use some more sweetness and balance. leaparsons (4749), Leicester, Leicestershire, England

White, white head. A bunch of floaties! Love the floaties. A good amount of spiciness in the flavor. Long, lingering yeastiness. Nice slight fizziness. This is a good one.
