Commercial Description:
A golden Tripel-style ale. A little lighter in alcohol, but not in flavor, than Westmalle, and more drinkable. It matches the best of Belgium.

33 cL bottle. Pours slight hazy orange with a huge white head. Yeasty and light caramelish aroma. Brett-ish sweet towards woody dry aroma. Light citric flavour with a nice malt sweetness and caramel flavour. Dry brett-ish finish with a light wood note.

33 cl bottle. Foggy, yeasty light golden, medium lasting head. Lightly spicy apple/banana/orange nose. Light, honeyish orangey-grapefruity initial flavor, decaying into yeasty light sourness towards the end, but with a bit of citrusy bit throughout. It’s fine, but nothing special.

Yeasty aroma, nice golden color. Creamy, fruity flavor with a sour aftertaste. 8% alcohol is masked well in this tripel. Zatte didn’t lay an egg with me.

Popped the top and foam gushed out, and gushed out, and gushed out. Particle-filled murky golden body with quickly dissipating white head. Aroma is sweet, cookie dough, spicy, yeasty. Taste is medium sweet, malty, spicy, yeasty, slightly floral and orange, finishing cookie dough and dry, with slight alcohol. Medium/full body. Interesting beer, filled with aroma and flavor, though I'm not altogether certain how much I like these combinations of aromas and flavors.

At the brewery. Murky orange in colour. Sweet aroma with some yeast and malt. Flavour is quite sweet, with apples and oranges, fulled bodied and peppery. Finish is spicy, with a medium tangy bitterness.

Cloudy golden appearance with a small but foamy head - smells of oranges and apples mostly, with a hint of must - something about this tastes like canned peaches - some bitterness and an attempt at a fruity complexity that it doesn't quite completey achieve, leaving a soft, somewhat thin finish - a tasty, valiant effort, but falls short.

Cloudy dark golden color with a large white head. Lemon and other citrus fruit aromas dominate, with hints of spice. The flavors are of citrus, ginger, and spice. Somewhat tart especially in the finish.
