Commercial Description:
A golden Tripel-style ale. A little lighter in alcohol, but not in flavor, than Westmalle, and more drinkable. It matches the best of Belgium.

Very hazy gold, with a long long lasting white large head. Looks brilliant, so tempting. Flavour is a wonderful blend of spices, honey and citric zest. Flavour is a similar blend, wonderful sweet honey start with a long spicy finish. Very well balanced, and alcohol completely hidden. Top stuff.

Man!!!
Wasn’t expecting all that much from this brew but I was Really Impressed!
Another beer sampled while Eric was in town.

Poured a muddled light orangeish-blond body with a thick cream colored head. Fine lacing hangs from start to finish. The aroma and flavor was astoundingly complex: almost farmyard like. Great suggestions of crusty biscuits, Golden Delicious apple, pear and slices of tangerine zest. Suggestions of leather horse saddle a lite funky mustiness… some buttered biscuits….
Evokes nostalgic images of ranch life: Eating lunch on a bale of hay as I sit beneath the shade of a grand oak… I enjoy this beautiful beer from a goblet and smile in content.

Huge thanks to SoLan who sent this as a bonus in a trade. Cloudy orangey/yellow, white head. Nose is lemon pineapple bretty goodness. Reminds me of a candy I used to like that was called Tart & Tiny’s. Awesome malt & yeast notes. Flavor is more of that tart & tiny, pineapple, yeast & light spicing (none of which I can zero in on.) A bit more yeast and breadiness in the finish. Extremely smooth body. Nice!

Murky bronze colour. Thick, huge head. Excellent lacing. Yeast-fruity aroma. Lively mouth-feel. Nice fruity (pineapple) flavour. Alcohol-bitter finish.

Bottle courtesy of sonah. Pours amber with a nice white head. Smells of sweet malt, sugar, citrus, some tarte undertones. Tastes of dry malt with some nice orange undertones, pepper, apples, lots of malt character. Mouthfeel is thick and full bodied. Finish yields some hints of straw and hay. I really enjoy this one.

Hazy golden ale with a thick creamy white head. Pleasant funky Orval aroma, coriander and herbal hops. In mouth, smooth lightly sweet malts, with ground cherries, coriander and light spicey final. Creamy, smooth. Very much in Orval style. Bought at Knighly Liquors, Orlando, 4.49$

33 cl bottle. Slightly cloudy orange-yellow beer with a thick pillowy white head that lasts to the end of the bottle. Aroma is very spicy with notes of apricot, bread and honey. Flavour also shows a lovely bready complexity backing up peach, cinnamon and clove. A kiss of plummy flavour as well as the lighter fruity notes, apricot/peach, wheaty spice and a fairly full creamy body. Finishes slightly herbal with a lingering floral hop note over everything. Lovely brew.
