Pleasant funky Orval aroma, coriander and herbal hops. In mouth, smooth lightly sweet malts, with ground cherries, coriander and light spicey final. Creamy, smooth. Very much in Orval style. Yeasty, spicy aroma layered with tart fruit. Taste starts a little sweet, yeasty and malty, eases past some fruitiness, before turning hoppier, with more bitterness and spiciness. Full bodied, decently carbonated mouthfeel with a dry, bitter, long lasting finish. JoeMcPhee (5000), Jackson Heights, New York, USA

Slightly cloudy orange-yellow beer with a thick pillowy white head that lasts to the end of the bottle. Aroma is very spicy with notes of apricot, bread and honey. Flavour also shows a lovely bready complexity backing up peach, cinnamon and clove. A kiss of plummy flavour as well as the lighter fruity notes, apricot/peach, wheaty spice and a fairly full creamy body. Finishes slightly herbal with a lingering floral hop note over everything. Lovely brew. chilangoglobal (97), Wagerningen, Netherlands
