A Mes rate. Bottle at LCRBM #5.
It was all getting a bit chaotic at this point as we tried to mop up what was left before we ran out of time at the Kulminator. As a result my notes just say "Yellow with white (which I’m presuming means head) grass earth fruit light." That’s it. And I think it probably is...

Bottle 75cl. @ LCRBM09 - Low Countries RateBeer Meeting V, Kulminator, Antwerpen, Belgium.
Light unclear medium orange color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toated, keller, earth, damp stained - moist earth. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090905]

75 cL bottle, Ober. Pours hazy yellow to orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild spiced, dry hoppy and vague light malty. Bitter, citric and mild fruity flavoured. Vague remain residual sugarish note. Bitter and dry finish.

On draught @ the brewery. A little hazy geel/golden colored beer, with a thick white head. The aroma of a little sour with some sweet fruits. The taste ihas also some sourness with fruits. There are notes of bitter. The aftertaste is sour and sweet. In my notion no blond.

Copper brown, good creamy off-white head. Fruity, a bit lemony nose. Medium-bodied. Balanced, easy to drink blond ale with flowery hoppy notes and good fruityness. Good summer drink.

Nice taste, though slightly heavy on the stomac, and again it's another too sweet beer from this friendly brewer.

Cloudy golden colour, nice lasting head. Complex aroma and flavour, spicy, some sourness, a bit tart. Not really my style though.

Cloudy golden color, medium frothy lasting head. Aroma is bit gueuze sour, spicy, hint of lactic maybe indeed. Taste is sweet, belgian white-like, bit spicy. Still refrshing, also a bit sour. Refreshing lasting bit sticky palate. I think jbrus drank this beer in the wrong time of the year, fall or winter. This blondie is actually delicious on a day like this, 30 degrees outside, sunny. Give me more!
