From the bottle pours a very murky orange/gold with a tall rocky white head. The head leaves thick lacing down the class and islands of foam form like rocks jutting out of the top of the beer. Big earthy hop nose, very spicy and floral. The hops give an odd flavor, sort of herbal, musty and bitter. Hints of champagne, apricot, pepper. Finish is dry and very bitter, maybe a bit to bitter, as it is a bit twangy and sharp in the aftertaste.

Bottle from dkachur. Thanks! Pours into a snifter with a huge gushing head that takes a while to settle. The beer is golden yellow, the head is huge. The aroma is spicy with notes of Belgian Yeast, and floral, herbal and garlic aromas. The flavor is hoppy and herbal, lots of garlic and veggies. Subtle sweet spice comes through but is drowned out by the strong veggie like hops. Dry pepper finish. Interesting.

bottle from grape and gourmet poured into a snifter. really, only the 5th in the world to rate this one?! pours a hazy pale orange with a massive white head and lots of carbonation but settles quickly. aroma is definitely belgian and quite unique. very peppery with citrus hops blended in and hints of spice and smoke. flavor is surely not that of an IPA but is sweet with hints of citrus, smoke, and a nice bitter malt backbone. mouthfeel is smooth with a bit of warmth from the 10%. overall, a very nice beer but not what i’d call and IPA.

Bottle. Hazy orange pour, tons of carbonation and sediment. Aroma was really weird; peppery, herbal and finished with a little citrus. Flavor had a lot of spice, flavor of orange peel and finished with some alcohol warmth. Flavor doesn’t fit the traditional American IPA, although very good.
