Look is golden colored and cloudy in look with a nice lacy white head. Taste is light with malts and a growing hop bitterness. Travlr (787), Washington, Washington DC, USA

Mellow and sour, with a number of different citrus overtones, nicely balanced with hoppy bitterness. A winner. skoisirius (584), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 28, 2008 11.2 oz. Beautiful straw gold color with a large and foamy extremely retentive white head. Lots of pineapples and sugars in the aroma. One of the most balanced IIPAs around...this coats the palate with the sweetness of candi sugar, while retaining a light and flowery hop presence throughout. No where near 10% ABV is noticeable...drinks like a 5% pils or something, quite refreshing to a point. Good stuff. Allen (1425), Switzerland
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Dec 23, 2008 Bottled 33cl. It pours a murky orange beer with some floating sediments. The head is white, or slightly off white. A lot of hops, wood, alcohol, licorice, vanilla, pine needles, black pepper, almonds, wax and blood oranges in the aroma. Wonderful flavor. Full bodied, complex and well balanced. Medicinal and honeyish. Very nice hop profile. Beautiful lacework. Hops, almonds, aniseed, vanilla, nutmeg, licorice, black pepper, grapefruit and blood oranges showing up. Sublime peppery finish. A wonderful beer. Underrated in my opinion. Thanks a lot bov for this one! Rciesla (3810), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 22, 2008 Bottle. Pours a hazy pale body with a huge white rocky head. Sweet fruity body with apricot, pear, pineapple, and plenty of etoh in the finish, but it compliments the fruit. greenhorn1 (462), Mission Viejo, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 20, 2008 11.2 oz bottle. Pours a very cloudy, tons of floaties, faded yellow. Huge head, super charged carbonation. Aroma and flavor both have that funky spicey yeastiness. I can detect some lemon and the flavor is sweet. I am not sure that I would call this an IPA, it is missing that hoppy aroma and bitterness that I expect. The 10% ABV is almost undetectable. bhensonb (4369), Woodland, California, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 11, 2008 Bottle from Liquid Solutions. Hazy golden color with a tremendous white head. Aromas of hop and yeast. Full bodied with lots of carbonation. Flavor is yeast, malt and herbal floral hops. Finish is not sweet, not dry, not astringent. It is hoppy. It is yeasty. It s really good. Is it bitter? Yes. But not that old PNW bitter. Incredibly tasty ale. f351c4v (408), Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 6, 2008 Pours a cloudy golden color, complete with floating yeast particles, with a large, white head. Tons of yeast settlement to pour... Hoppy aroma, with a Belgian yeast hint. Very hoppy for a Belgian IPA, almost crisp, except for that yeasty Belgian finish. Definitely different.
