Commercial Description:
A dark and heavy ale - the strongest that the brewery has ever produced - in which three varieties of malt and two spices are utilised. It is brewed "in honour of" the Burgundian Babble Belt, a well known web-site on the Internet, where beer lovers can exchange all sorts of information.

Bottle (330ml). Cloudy dark amber with small diminishing bubbly head. Mild aroma of caramel malt, grain and sour oaked red wine - and a big noseful of alcohol as it warms. Taste is a melange of sweet roast caramel malt, alcohol, yeast and spices - pretty nice, actually, but packs a punch. Mouthfeel is flat, syrupy and alcoholic. Very strong indeed - a winter warmer for sure.

High alcohol content and alcoholic in both the aroma and the finish. Hazy amber with little head. Very sweet, heavy. Caramel notes in the aroma and the taste. Mineral taste to the water profile (but could be from bottling).

pours a murky broze-brown color, large light tan creamy head. Aroma of alcohol, caramel, citrusy fruit, sweet malt. flavor is sweet, carbonated overly a bit like coca cola with that carbonated burn, citrusy, dark fruits are present. good body, good brew.

Holy crap!! 12%!!! Very cloudy brown body with a moderate head and good lacing. Aroma is sugar, lemon, yeast and caramel. Almost a metallic feel to it. While I didn’t think this was tasty at all, I can’t believe it was 12%. I wouldn’t have even guessed 8. It’ll getcha drunk.
