Soft flavours of sweetish, roasted malt, raisins and other dried fruits - perhaps even overripe fruits. And again notes of desert wine in the flavours. Very delicious and delicate. A real warming nightcap. 260705 Pernille (518), Copenhagen, Denmark
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Jul 30, 2005 Smells like candied wood. And the flavor is spwcial as well. Peppery, chocolatey and even with some bitterness. I’m impressed. But not by the label, which is stupid! Dixen (1465), Flagstaff, Arizona, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 26, 2005 Good sweetness in the aroma, dark fruits, brandy and some alcohol. Muddy dark amber body with a small white head on top. Very malty flavor, with lots of fruits and a bit too much alcohol for my taste. Prickly palate. joergen (8627), Frederiksberg, Denmark
