Commercial Description:
A dark and heavy ale - the strongest that the brewery has ever produced - in which three varieties of malt and two spices are utilised. It is brewed "in honour of" the Burgundian Babble Belt, a well known web-site on the Internet, where beer lovers can exchange all sorts of information.

(Bottle 33 cl) Reddish amber, slightly hazy. Sweetish, vinuos scent of desert wine. Soft flavours of sweetish, roasted malt, raisins and other dried fruits - perhaps even overripe fruits. And again notes of desert wine in the flavours. Very delicious and delicate. A real warming nightcap. 260705

Smells like candied wood. And the flavor is spwcial as well. Peppery, chocolatey and even with some bitterness. I’m impressed. But not by the label, which is stupid!

Good sweetness in the aroma, dark fruits, brandy and some alcohol. Muddy dark amber body with a small white head on top. Very malty flavor, with lots of fruits and a bit too much alcohol for my taste. Prickly palate.

Good sized light tan head. Reduces to a sticky chunky glob of foam. Good carbonation. Sweet aroma of caramel, malts, figs and a bit of spice. Color is a dark copper. Flavor is sweet and a little thin. Substantial alcohol presence. Some yeast and fruit (apricots). Flavor dominated by the sweetness and the alcohol. Finish is thick and coating with a plethora of malts and heat. Not the best belgian stong.

An unclear brown beer with no head. The aroam is sweet spicy. While the flavor is very sweet with notes of caramel, oranges, and spices - of which coriander stands out. The end is spicy dry.
