Lubiere (3153), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Feb 6, 2008 A hazy dark amber ale with a thick light moka head, with fine granulate yeasts dropping at the bottom of the glass. A pleasant brown sugar, with pleasant star anis, vanilla ice cream, coriander and rum. In mouth, tingly spicy mouthfeel, with sustained coriander, pepper, and sweet perfumey malt. The 12% is not present. Bieropholie imports, no BB date.

Miedium high but quickly disappearing offf-white head. Hazy dark orange red body. Vineous spicy fruity caramel roasted malt aroma. Pretty carbonated and yet smooth and mild fealing flavor of raisins plums caramel and bitterness in the background. Alcohol well hidden. Low carbonation. Long aftertaste. nearbeer (1156), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Jun 18, 2008 Updated: Jul 31, 200833 cl. Opaque, violet-chestnut with a small head that makes a lasting creamy ring. Aroma is earthy, spicy-sweet raisin bread with sugary icing. Flavor is dark fruit mulled with winter spices - juniper, brown sugar, maybe some slight nutmeg, lemon peel and a dash of white pepper. Some hints of sour leather and a delicate woody bitterness tame the big malt and show up more noticeably in the finish. Medium body is a little thin and slightly dry. grimreeser (621), Minnesota, USA Jun 3, 2008 Pours an almost flat dirty murcky brown. Aroma is dark fruit, caramel, brown sugar, and spices. Flavor is a little dull, some sweetness. Thin and watery. Alcohol is well hidden.
