| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Nov 20, 2006 Slightly hazy golden amber body with a small white head. The aroma was a bit harsh, almost of burning plastic, with some sweet malt and candi sugar barely shining through. Flavor was quite similar, nearly that of an electrical fire in your mouth. More light candi sugar lingers in the background, but a bitter aftertaste that sticks in the back of your mouth. Maybe this was a bad pull off tap, but this wasnt quite what I expect of anything belgian. BelgiskOlklub (419), Viby J, Denmark

Soapy, flowery oily hopbitter citric flavor. Could be a very good beer, but the soap spoils the fun. 1FastSTi (2591), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Oct 23, 2006 Bottle via John’s Grocery. Pours to a hazy straw/dark pine colored body with a fizzy white head. While pouring, I noticed extreme key and kaffir limes. After the pour, however, the lime was tough to acquire. I do get strange malts and yeasts. The flavor is yeasty, lightly metallic, citric acid, light soap. The palate is moderately bodied with light metallic feel on the long finish. A very confusing beer. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 17, 2006 Pours a slightly hazy deep golden with a moderately-sized, wispy-lacing white head. Aroma has a pleasant, lightly-sweet, biscuity Belgian maltiness with a touch of bready yeast. Body is less interesting, but shows a hint of its citric lime tartness toward a thinner, more bitter finish. A decent and drinkable brew.
