Spicy, resinous aroma with notes of burnt plastic and dish washing detergent. Well-balanced, spicy flavor. Pale and pilsener malts with breadsy funkiness only a Belgian ale could offer. Light acidity. Medium-bodied with soft carbonation and an astringent, dry finish. Kudos to boboski for providing me with this one! robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA

The Flavor is Angel Food Cake. ..Bit of a Dry Old Clingy-ness on the Back of the Throat...but overall a Really Nice Session Style Beer. beerbuzzmontreal (2921), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 20, 2007 The pour reveals a cloudy golden color with swirls of yeast and a thick white head. Aroma of honey, yeast and citrus. The lime blossoms used in this beer are a blessing because it brings a sharp and refreshing feeling to an almost boring honey-yeast combo. The body is medium with an oily texture and moderate carbonation. Decent. PilsnerPeter (2653), Flushing, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 17, 2007 Bottle: Poured a hazy golden topped by a loose white film for head. The aroma was slightly musty. Had a bit of a honey-like character, fruity notes; apparent citrus lime notes, and light mint leaf. The body had smooth carbonation. Nice honey like quality in the flavor, with a light mustyness. The citrus notes are bright and crisp. The lime is definitly apparent but not at all assertive. Light mint leaf suggetions in the flavor as well. There’s a light alcohol suggetion in the clean finish. Another elegant and underrated offering from this brewery. hopdog (5611), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 4, 2007 11.2oz bottle. Opened to an audible psst and was a light gusher. Poured a medium and hazy golden color with a large sized white head. Aromas of yeast, lime, spicey and somewhat fruity. Tastes of lime, fruity, and light yeast. Interesting. Definitely a lime quality to it. Dry and crisp finish. Maria (6309), Thisted, Denmark
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 1, 2007 Golden, hazy with a nice head. The aroma is sweetish with notes of caramel and fruit. The mouthfeel is round. The flavour is slightly acidic and slightly sweet with notes of fruit, honey and the lime flowers that has bee added during the process are very clear in the flavour as a refreshing hint of lime. It’s more bitter than most blonds, but nice and refreshing. FrankJohansen (3370), Århus-Randers Crew, Denmark
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 31, 2007 Bottle. Cloudy yellow colour with a medium mostly lasting creamy head. Rich aroma and taste of fruits and yeast. Nice beer. jpm30 (1588), East Central, Georgia, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Mar 27, 2007 From a 11.2 oz. Belgian stubby bottle with no freshness date, sampled at cellar temperature in a tulip glass.
Poured a cloudy orangey bright golden with a nice rocky, foamy white head, good retention, some laced sticking.
Aromas of musty funk, like foot odor, lime with a touch of rind, pears and bananas, a light spiciness and sweet maltiness.
Good carbonation and a crisp, dry, carbonated smooth medium-light bodied mouthfeel.
Not very tasty, moldy leather, orange zest and lime rind, a soft spiciness, a light fruitiness towards the end, the alcohol has a fusel flavor, warming in the back of the throat, and a dry bitter, leathery, fruity, malty finish.
I have like the other ales I’ve tried from this brewer, but this was a disappointment, not very tasty or balanced.
