Draught. Light yelllow coloured. Unclear. Dense off white head. Sweetness, fruits, yeast in the aroma. Quite bland. Flavour is watery. Sweet and yeasty with light fruitsnotes. Is thin bodied. Ends on a bland fruity note. Dosn’t have much to offer on the palate. Below average IMO.

(Rating #885)

Beastiefan2k’s love of this beer notwithstanding, here goes... Very pale golden colour, thin fast-fading white head. Very odd aroma, light spicy yeast, some faint citrus and a soapy chemically character as well. Rank flavour, with light dusty yeast mixed with soap, rotten fruit and dank greasy malts. I normally enjoy Regenboog beers, but half of this went down the drain.

Pours a cloudy golden color with a huge slight off-white head. Aroma of hop, grain, some apple blossom typical for belgian blondes, some yeast. Nice bitter taste, bit yeasty as well. I like t Smisje brews, and this one is just a fine blonde.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy dark yellow color ale with a huge foamy head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of Belgian yeast and sweet malt with some candies sugar. Taste is also dominated by the Belgian yeast and the sweet malt with a slightly funky finish. Body is not filtrated and quite full with adequate carbonation. Not the best blond Belgian ale I’ve had but pretty good nonetheless.

Very cloudy dirty blonde body with an initially large white head. Coriander and yeast on the nose. Body is very yeasty with a floury texture and taste. Combined with a very active carbonation you get a an aggressive attack. Then some fruity notes (mainly orange). Than nothing. Nothing new here, quite ordinary and forgettable beer. To feel even more common they’d have to call it Smith Blond.

11.2 oz bottle. Pours an attractive cloudy orange color with a creamy white, but quickly dissipating, head. The powerfully citrus aroma is intriguing. Body is medium to light. Highly carbonated. Surprisingly bitter "bite"-- a combination of hops and citrus peel. No real malt flavor, though, and little complexity. Slightly tangy. The citrus peel flavor is really overwhelming. Hint of an ammonia off-flavor there at the end, too. A bit of a disappointment.
