11.2 oz bottle. Pours a deep amber color, with some orangish high-lights. No head to speak of and very thick - almost like a barley wine. Aroma is malt, caramel, dark fruits and some woody qualities. Flavor was a bit on the sweet side, with a lot of malty goodness, some sourness, fruity sweetness, some spice and a little bit of hops on the back. I found this to be very, very drinkable and was amazed at the 12% abv. I would like a few more bottles of this.

Poured a medium orangish/golden, cloudy, with tons of sediment, no head, no carbonation. Woody aroma and notes of whisky. Flavors are intense, notes of earth, fruit and sourness, whisky finish, some cheese, and a little bit of alcohol. lots of flavors from start to finish. Very good.

Pours a cloudy deep amber with an off-white thickly lacing head. Aroma is of freshly backed fruit cake drenched in caramel. The body is large and viscous with a mouth coating sweetness. This is a desert beer to be sure. The flavors are sherryish and incredibly sweet. There’s a lot in there; prunes, dates, plums, just a lot of fruit. Finish is very sweet and long lasting with a heat that creeps on you. A very nice beer to share but I don’t know that I would want one to drink on my own. Just too sweet.

Was a barleywine in my book. Poured a murky orange-brown with a bunch of sedimentation. Lots of honey and malty sweetness in the aroma along with sherry / liquor. The flavor was of honey, molasses, caramel and other sweet malts. Candi sugar? I dunno, it was a bit odd tasting (caramel) for being able to pick up on that or any belgian spices. Finishes with some bittering hops noticeable. Mouthfeel was sticky and thick.

The aroma had sweet malt notes, dark fruit, plums/raisins, but yet the aroma was light. The beer poured a brownish yellow color with golden highlights, slight head and thin lacing. The flavor had coriander, dark fruit, and a sweet malt note. The mouthfeel was medium bodied and creamy with a dry finish.

Pours a dar, muddy brown colow with a very small head. Initial aroma is sweet and slightly fruity, with chocolate and toffee lurking in the background. SIlky smooth body, with a good balance of sweetness, spiciness, and yeast character. Not sticky at all, it’s very drinkable for the alcohol content. Very good.
