Pours a dark red/brown color with hardly any head at all. Tart aroma of cherries, grape, blackberry, raisin and plum. Sweet fruit taste perfectly balanced out with strong alcohol flavor rendering it not too sweet. A touch sour in the finish. Very good!

Bottle. OMG!! A top 10 brew right here for sure. Beer poured medium brown, head was almost non existent. Big nose of sweet apples, Raisens and other dried fruits. Also some caramel and yeast. A great brew, highly recomended.

Tiny little 330mL bottle. Strong smell of ripened fruit or a mince meat pie. Lots of dried fruits (raisins, dates, prunes, cooked apples, cherries) and some spice and nuts. Big barrel essences. Bourbon, pepper, and alcohol. Very rich malt body. Pours a medium brown haze with an off-white head. Flavors of caramel, raisin, vanilla and big alcohol. Some spice flavors of coriander, but mostly vanilla. I feel very luck to try this rich sipping beer.

Dark reddish brown. Very small off-white head. Strong smell of sweet apples that overtakes the other aroma characteristics. Flavor is more complex, with dark fruits, whisky, caramel, and coriander. More apple flavor in the finish. Nice warming effect. I love that in the winter. Overall this is enjoyable but not a remarkable Belgian.

Extremely flat, murky brown colored liquid. Smelling of apples, butterscotch and whisky. I was expecting much more.

Bottle: Pours a muddy burgundy with almost no head, just a brief ring of loose bubbles. Pungent nose full of sweet dark fruits: plummy, raisins, candy sugar, sweet mint background. There’s also a mild boozy character of apple brandy and a rum/vanilla hint. Vacant, slick mouth feel. The flavor has a mild boozy/apple brandy background. There’s a further sweet fruitiness of raisins, plums, caramel apple, and a brown sugar sweetness from the candi-sugar. The alcohol is extremely well hidden in the flavor. The finish has a late, strange musty roast suggestion. Decent flavors and character overall, yet it’s lacking body and mouth feel, especially for the ABV.

Bottle. Aroma is initially very sweet but with a dry woody backbone. Some dried figs, plums and musty wood. Pours Murky dark amber with a big creamy head. Sticky lacing. Flavor was quite sweet at first. Caramel apples. Hint of cinnamon and vanilla. Finishes fairly dry. Creamy on the palate with average carbonation. Decent but beyond the sweet malt and oak notes lacks complexity.
