Bottled. A murky unclear golden beer with no head. The aroma has strong notes of over ripe fruits as well as medium notes of sweet malt and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, over ripe fruits, wood, and oxidation. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

(Bottle 25 cl) Courtesy of boboski. hazy amber golden with a small off-white head. Fat aroma of overripe fruit. Quite full-bodied with overripe fruit and a rather low carbonation. Some hops in the finish. Excellent. 200608

25 cL bottle. Pours hazy and deep orange with a lacing off-white head. Dense malt aroma and solid overripe fruity too. Flavour is dense malt, light yeasty touch to a solid fruity note. Dense malt finish with sharp malt bite and alcohol note into the finish.

Muddy dull brown - looks dreadful in the glass. No hiss upon opening and no carbo visible. Aroma has apple, alcohol and rich malts - caramel and concentrated amounts of pale malt. Flat body, but alcohol arrives quickly and forcefully to minimize oiliness. Of course, this is merely replaced by heat. It carries alongside it an apple accent as well as slightly caramelized pears and peaches. Strongly alcoholic finish. I find the overall product too hot and the beer component too one-dimensional (read: dominated by the calvados). Decent at best.

Cloudy amber color. The aroma has, in the beginning, some nice malt; the mouthfeel is too dry and alcoholic, with just some light caramel flavor. The fermentation has used too much of the sugars. Strangely, it has a parmesan touch both in the aroma and flavor. Disappointing.

Muddy with tiny off white head. Sweet vinious aroma with caramel, calvados, plums and wood. Sweet and somewhat boozy flavor with overripe fruits, caramel and roasted malt. Ends with warming alcohol.
