Dark brown filling with little white head. A little sweetness from fruits & spices. Average carbonation and great finish! A great Belgium dubbel!

this is one heavy dubbel, stronger than many triples. opaque amber with not much head, it is not the sexiest looking beer. yeasty and fruity aroma with hint of spice, the alcohol presence is apparent. heavy and chewy.

Bottle. Muddy orange coloured with an off white head. Sweet aroma of fruits and spices. Sweet flavour of fruits, spices, yeast and hops. Hoppy finish.

11.2 oz Bottle: Opaque honey-brown pour with thick white head and some tailing. Head sticks around for a while. Strong fruit scent with a sour note- definitely sense the dates. Flavor is the same sweet to sour transition with a watery finish. Very little alcohol heaviness for a dubbel. Quite easy-drinking.

11.2oz bottle. Poured a medium and hazy brown color with a larged sized, bubbly off white head. Aromas of yeast, light leather, figs, raisins and plums. Tastes of dark fruits, light yeast, and brown/candi sugary sweet. There was just something about the aroma that I didn’t like and felt didn’t really fit but was not present in the flavor.

Murky brown. Small, frothy, off white head. Apprehensive aroma of rich malt, candi sugar, and dark fruit. Flavor is not so shy. Sweet, rich malt and candi sugar, honey, doughy yeast, dark fruits, some grainy bitterness. Roasty and musty caramel finish and aftertaste. Full/medium, balanced body. Easy to drink, alcohol well hidden. Unique, nice dubbel.

bottle from chevy chase liquors. aroma is a little yeasty, lots of dark malt fruitiness (figs?), a touch of alcohol. medium body. flavor is sweet initiatially, but fades into a suprisingly clean finish (hops in a dubbel? awesome!). This is great, I wish I had more of it

Bottle had an abnormal amount of yeast and other artifacts. A slow pour allowed a minimal amount in my glass. Appearance out of the bottle is a little light for a dubbel, but hazy, with huge carbonation, but little head. Aroma is of banana and fig. Heavy caramel taste, with some spice and even a litl ehop presence - interesting. Finish is sweet.
