Bottle from new beer. Pours a orange amber body with a creamy white head. Sweet fruity esters pear, apple, a bit tart and some candi sugar. Spices of clove and musky wood. Light etoh with a semi dry finish. Fruity esters linger in the aftermath. Decent.

Pours a lightly hazy copper, with a fizzy, short-lived head - the aroma is slightly musty and tart, with some bizarre underlying complexities that include root vegetables (starchy character), charred wood, burnt herbs, dandelions, a touch of candi sugar sweetness - an odd but not unpleasant combination - the flavor gets even more strange, though - things start out with flavors of beechwood ashes and boiled vegetables - this is followed by some bitterness and aromatic herbal and wildflower character, but these, too, taste charred, like someone lit plants on fire and crushed the ashes of them into my beer - this is followed by a very light sweetness and peppery character - the vegetal qualities and burnt flavor return for the finish, as well as some papery/cork-like oxidized notes - there is a fine line between unique/interesting and just plain bad, and this beer kind of has one foot on each side of that line.

Bottle, bought @ Vinens Verden, Odense.<br /> Pours muddy, pale amber with a small, creamy, off-white head. Aroma has pepper, some cardboard, coriander and herbs. Fine mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Flavour is very flowery, tulips and roses. Light herbal touch as well.

33cl bottle at home: Hazy orange with an amber center. Yellowed tall and creamy head sits nicely on top. Turns to a rocky mountainscape after a while. Big malt and husky fresh grain aroma. Touch of grassiness. A nice "burnt earth" or wood-fired clay pot in the background. At first it is hidden by the grain and wildflower bouquet but as that diisapates the fired clay comes out. Sweet yellow cake starts to build up as well, but raw grain, malt, and wild flowers dominate. Grain husk, wheat, and some sort of wild grass come out first upon tasting. Alcohol note comes in the middle but never reaches the nose. Some oiliness in the middle too. Yeast, alcohol, yellow cake, grass and wheat take you on a long journey before leaving you with wheat, hay and a touch of wet newspaper. CO2 is high enough to keep the slickness of the beer from becoming oppressive. Very interesting but falls apart at the end a bit.
