Bottle from Healthy Spirits in S.F., CA. Hazy peach fuzz color with a very impressive white head. The aroma is something else. Reminds me of linoleum paste from decades ago. Yeast, brine, multiple spices. Medium body with fine carbonation. Flavor is wet wood, brine, bread, some sort of spice. It is on the naked edge. I am always up for different and unusual, and this certainly is. Finish is a bit papery, but all that other stuff is still there. Brewed in Brugge. Does it get better than that? Yeah, but this is something that should be on your bucket list.

Bottle. Pours hazy orange golden with lacing offwhite head. Yeasty, bready and spicy aroma. Quite bitter flavours with a herbal twist, noticeable alcohol, salty notes, dry. Satisfyingly different.

Color is murky, dirty, muted golden with a sticky-icky lacing. Aroma is lightly tart, lightly brine-y, and lightly white raisin bread. Similar flavor and very easy drinking without being light. Leaves a light aftertaste of muted passion fruit. This was nice stuff, and salty dog is at the beach.
33cl bottle, date #rd quarter of 2009?, from Bier Temple, in a De Neve tumbler.

Bottled, bought in Grobbedonk. Cloudy orange golden color, thick frothy head. Aroma is sweet flowery, bit malty, quite spicy, yeasty, some orange. Slight sourish taste, orange and flowery. Ends with a slight pepper finish. Bit unbalanced though.

(Bottle at Brugs Beertje on 2008-05-20) Golden colour. Hazy. Medium-sized dense white head. Sweet flowery nose. Medium and dryish palate. Some fizziness. Flowery taste. Some hops in taste. Firstly beer taste flowers and moves to bitter aftertaste. Didn’t like.

ZBF 08. Pours a hazy orange color with a thin bubbly white head. Aroma of peaches, yeast and sweetness. Flavor of peaches, pumpkin (?), yeast and sweetness. The body is light with an oily texture and gentle carbonation. Intriguing, but good.

tap @ Monk’s. This beer was different all right, having the flavor of odd spices and what seemed to be smoked ham hocks added during the boil. It had an upper end of medium bodied flavor that could hold it’s own with what I was eating. A good amount of funk and brett in the mix as well. Not too sweet or viscous with a clean, almost crisp mouthfeel. I ended up ordering 2. Thought it was pretty good.
